Evacuation and rescue plan
The evacuation and rescue plan is a document that the employer is obliged to prepare in case of an extraordinary event (fire, explosion, earthquake, act of terrorism, etc.). The evacuation and rescue plan determines the organization, procedures and measures for organizing the appropriate way of evacuation and rescue of persons and material goods. The evacuation plan should contain detailed procedures to be applied during the evacuation, with which all workers should be familiar. On the basis of this plan, practical evacuation exercises must be carried out at least once every two years.
Failure to comply with these obligations is punishable by fines of HRK 10.000 for legal entities and HRK 3.000 for responsible persons.
