Chemical hazards are harmful substances that can lead to damage to the health of people who come into contact with them during production, handling, transportation, storage or use. They appear in the form of dust, fumes, gases, mists, steam, fibers, etc. After the worker has been exposed to them, as a rule, for a long time, they can cause the appearance of occupational diseases or other work-related diseases.

The employer is obliged at least once every three years to carry out tests for chemical hazards in the working environment in order to determine whether the measured values are within the limits established by regulations and standards.
