Testing of hydrants

The correctness of the hydrant network is checked by the first test and periodic tests.

The first test is a correctness check that is performed before the technical inspection of the newly constructed building (facility) or after the reconstruction of the system. For hydrant installations, the contractor is obliged to obtain a certificate from an authorized legal entity about the correct operation of these installations and devices.

Periodic testing is a correctness check that is performed periodically, at prescribed time intervals after the first test. The law on fire protection stipulates that the correctness of hydrant installations must be checked periodically at least once a year by an authorized legal entity, in accordance with technical norms, norms and manufacturer's instructions.
